Asbestos Re-inspection

We offer Asbestos Re-inspection services to ensure the regular monitoring and assessment of the condition of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) identified in a previous survey.  This is a requirement of the Asbestos Regulation and in so doing, assist the Duty Holder’s the responsibilities of managing asbestos in their buildings.

The frequency of the re-inspection is usually within 12 months and is based on an assessment of risk. Some ACMs that present a higher risk are considered for re-inspection more frequently than 12 months.

We also ensure that areas of buildings that were not accessed originally are surveyed so that the asbestos register is as robust as possible.  We are also able to deliver clients labelling policies and ensure that labels are applied to areas of the building if required.

 

The information and data collected during the inspection can be recorded and delivered either in electronic reports and/or through clients FM database systems.

 

When ACMs have been damaged and the risk identified to be higher than original, we will offer recommendations for safe management including removal or encapsulation.

Other client specific inspections are offered including emergency, scoping and quality inspections.

 

All inspection services are conducted in accordance with all the relevant Health and Safety Executive guidance including HSG264: The survey guide.
